Recommendations

If you have more time, you can visit the Fort Aguada, which is a 1-hour drive from Colva Beach. The fort was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century and offers stunning views of the Arabian Sea. You can also take a day trip to the nearby Gokarna Beach, which is located in the neighboring state of Karnataka. It's a 3-hour drive from Colva Beach, but the beautiful scenery and pristine beaches make it worth the trip.

Make sure to try the local Goan cuisine, which is a blend of Indian and Portuguese flavors. Some must-try dishes include vindaloo, fish curry, and bebinca (a traditional dessert). You can also try the local cashew feni, which is a popular alcoholic drink in Goa.
