Four-Day Itinerary for South Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit Palolem Beach
    1 hour (41 km) from Goa International Airport

    Morning: Stroll along the picture-perfect white sands of Palolem Beach, swimming in shallow crystal clear waters, and enjoy breakfast at one of the many cafes in the area. Afternoon: Take a boat ride to Butterfly Island, which is only a 15-minute ride from Palolem beach. Evening: Enjoy a relaxing sunset on the beach while sipping your favourite drink from a beach shack.

  2. Day 2: Explore Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    1 hour 30 minutes (62 km) from Palolem Beach

    Morning: Start your day early to visit Dudhsagar Waterfalls, located on the Mandovi River, and snap some great pictures. Afternoon: Visit the spice plantation located in Ponda. Evening: Visit the beautiful Shri Manguesh Temple, just a 30-minute drive from the spice plantation.

  3. Day 3: Visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus and Explore Panaji
    1 hour (31 km) from Dudhsagar Waterfalls

    Morning: Visit the famous Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for housing the remains of St. Francis Xavier. Afternoon: Explore Panaji, the state capital of Goa, and visit the Miramar Beach and Dona Paula beach for some exciting water sports activities. Evening: Enjoy dinner and a night out at some of the famous restaurants located in and around Panaji.

  4. Day 4: Visit Fort Aguada and Wrap up with a Sunset Cruise
    30 minutes (16 km) from Panaji

    Morning: Visit the famous Fort Aguada, built-in 1612 to guard against Dutch and Maratha invasions. Afternoon: Visit the Anjuna market, a perfect place for shopping and experiencing Goa's vibrant culture. Evening: Take a sunset cruise with dinner and drinks along the Mandovi River to end your trip on a high note.
