Sikkim Winter Wonderland: 5-Day Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Gangtok

  3. Day 3: Pelling

  4. Day 4: Ravangla and Namchi

    In the morning, visit the Buddha Park in Ravangla, set amidst serene surroundings and showcasing a 130-foot tall statue of Lord Buddha. In the afternoon, visit the Char Dham in Namchi, a pilgrimage site featuring replicas of the four major Hindu shrines. In the evening, enjoy a cultural program at the local auditorium.

  5. Day 5: Yuksom
    2 hours and 50 minutes (55.2 km) from Namchi

    Spend the morning exploring the quaint village of Yuksom, the first capital of Sikkim and the base for many treks. Visit the Dubdi Monastery, the oldest monastery in Sikkim, and explore the ruins of the Norbugang Coronation Throne. In the afternoon, relax in the serene surroundings of the Kanchenjunga National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

If you have time, visit the Rumtek Monastery, one of the largest and most important monasteries in Sikkim. You can also go for a trek in the Singalila National Park, which offers stunning views of the Himalayas. For adventure enthusiasts, try river rafting in the Teesta River or paragliding in Gangtok.
