Exploring South Goa's Natural Wonders

  1. Day 1: Palolem Beach
    1 hour 5 minutes (28.2 km) from Goa International Airport

    As the sun rises over the Arabian sea, take an invigorating morning stroll on Palolem Beach's golden sands. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the warm waters of the bay and try your hand at kayaking or paddleboarding. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Rajbagh Talpona Beach, where you can spot dolphins frolicking in the waves.     Get up early and drive to the majestic Dudhsagar Falls. The four-tiered waterfall cascades down from a height of 310 meters, surrounded by lush greenery. Take a refreshing swim in the natural pool at the base of the falls or explore the surrounding forests on a guided hike. In the afternoon, head to Tambdi Surla Temple, one of the oldest temples in Goa, located in a secluded spot within the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. End the day with a relaxing dinner at a nearby restaurant.

  3. Day 3: Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary
    1 hour (35 km) from Dudhsagar Falls

    Start the day with a serene boat ride through the mangrove forests of the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. Keep an eye out for kingfishers, herons, and other exotic birds as you glide through the tranquil waters. After the boat ride, head to the nearby Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can spot leopards, sloth bears, and other wildlife on a guided trek. End the day with a visit to the Cabo de Rama Fort, perched high on a hill overlooking the Arabian Sea. Watch the sunset from the fort's ramparts before heading back to your hotel.
