3-Day Itinerary for New Delhi in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Red Fort

    In the morning, explore the Red Fort, an iconic UNESCO World Heritage site that was built in 1648. This red sandstone fortress was once the residence of Mughal emperors like Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb.   2. Day 2: Qutub Minar
    40 minutes (16.1km) from Red Fort

    Start your day with a visit to Qutub Minar, a towering minaret built in 1193. This five-story tower is made of red sandstone and marble and is surrounded by several other historical structures, including the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque. In the afternoon, visit Humayun's Tomb, a stunning mausoleum built in 1572 that is considered a precursor to the Taj Mahal. In the evening, explore Hauz Khas Village, a trendy neighbourhood known for its art galleries, boutiques, and nightlife.

  3. Day 3: Lotus Temple
