If you have more time in Vietnam, consider visiting the Mekong Delta, the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, or the beaches of Nha Trang. You can also take a side trip to the nearby country of Laos. To make the most of your trip, try to interact with the locals, learn some basic Vietnamese phrases, and try some of the street food. Finally, be prepared for the weather in March, which can be hot and humid in southern Vietnam and cool in northern Vietnam.
