Spend the last day exploring one of the coolest neighbourhoods in Milan. Navigli is a vibrant district famous for its picturesque canals and delicious food options. Start at the Darsena di Milano, an ancient dock converted into a lovely meeting place. Then, explore the area by foot and stop at various cafes, bars and restaurants to taste traditional Milanese cuisine.
Most of the attractions are easily reachable on foot. Milan also has an expansive metro network, with a single ticket costing 1.50€ and valid for 90 minutes. Taxis have a start rate of 3€ and charge an additional 1.50€ per kilometer. Expect to pay around 70€ for a taxi from the airport to the city centre, which takes around 30 minutes.
If you have more time, consider taking a day trip to Lake Como, only an hour away from Milan by train. Alternatively, you can visit some of the city's lesser-known museums, such as the Museum of Science and Technology or the Armani/Silos Museum.
