Recommendations

If you have extra time, consider taking a side trip to the Hemkund Sahib, a picturesque lake located at a height of over 4,000 meters. You can also go on a guided tour of the Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary to spot rare Himalayan wildlife like the snow leopard and Himalayan black bear. To maximize your fun, make sure to pack comfortable walking shoes and warm clothes as the weather can be unpredictable. Lastly, we recommend staying at a local guesthouse to experience the warm hospitality of the locals.
