Kodaikanal Adventure Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Coaker's Walk
    10 minutes (2 miles) from Kodaikanal Bus Stand

    Coaker's Walk is a one-kilometer paved pedestrian path running along the edge of steep slopes on the southern side of Kodaikanal. In the morning, take a leisurely walk to enjoy the breathtaking view of the valley and the hills. In the afternoon, head to Green Valley View, a popular viewpoint that offers a panoramic view of the plains, the Vaigai dam, and surrounding villages. In the evening, visit Kodaikanal Lake, a man-made star-shaped lake, perfect for boating or cycling.

  2. Day 2: Bryant Park

    Bryant Park is a botanical garden spread over 20 acres, situated on the eastern side of Lake Road.     Pillar Rocks are three massive granite rocks standing vertically shoulder to shoulder, surrounded by lush greenery. In the morning, take a walk around the place and enjoy the view of the valley. In the afternoon, visit Guna Caves, a natural cave formed between two large Pillar Rocks, which is believed to be a popular spot for the filming of the Kamal Haasan starrer movie, "Guna." In the evening, visit Pine Forest, a beautiful forest with tall pine trees perfect for trekking and camping.

  4. Day 4: Dolphin's Nose
    1 hour (20 miles) from Pine Forest

    Dolphin's Nose is a flat rock protruding over a breathtaking cliff, resembling a dolphin's nose. In the morning, take a walk to the place and enjoy the panoramic view of the surrounding valley. In the afternoon, visit Berijam Lake, a scenic reservoir surrounded by beautiful forests and home to several species of animals. In the evening, visit the Kodaikanal Adventure Park, a perfect place for adventure lovers, offering activities like zip-lining, rock climbing, and rappelling.

Other attractions that you can include in your itinerary are the Devil's Kitchen, a cave located between Green Valley View and Pillar Rocks, and the Silver Cascade Falls, a waterfall located on the Ghat Road.
