One Day Itinerary for Pushkar

    10 minutes (0.7 miles) from Pushkar Lake

    Head to the Varaha temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu in his boar avatar. The temple is adorned with intricate carvings and paintings depicting the various avatars of Lord Vishnu. Marvel at the stunning architecture and learn about Hindu mythology.

    15 minutes (1.2 miles) from Varaha Temple

    Explore the vibrant Pushkar bazaar, lined with colourful shops selling everything from jewellery and clothes to local handicrafts and souvenirs. Indulge in some street food and bargaining with the friendly shopkeepers.

    20 minutes (1.5 miles) from Pushkar Bazaar

    Climb up to the Savitri temple, dedicated to Lord Brahma's wife Savitri. The temple offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Pushkar and its surroundings. Don't forget to carry water and wear comfortable shoes for the hike up the hill.

  6. 5:00PM: Sunset Safari
    10 minutes (0.5 miles) from Savitri Temple

    End your day with an adventurous sunset safari in the Pushkar desert. Hop on a camel or jeep and explore the sand dunes, while enjoying the beautiful sunset. Experience the traditional Rajasthani culture with folk music and dance performances by locals.

Don't miss the annual Pushkar Camel Fair, held in November, which attracts thousands of tourists from around the world. You can also take a day trip to Ajmer, located just 15km away from Pushkar, and visit the famous Ajmer Sharif Dargah.
