Start your day with an early morning trek to Girnar Hill, a popular pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Jains. The climb up the 10,000 steps to the top is challenging but rewarding, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. At the top, visit the temples and shrines dedicated to the deities. Afternoon, visit the Bhavnath Mahadev Temple, which is one of the oldest temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple has a serene atmosphere and is surrounded by beautiful natural surroundings, including a waterfall. In the evening, attend the aarti ceremony which is a beautiful experience.
Start your day by visiting the Sakkarbaug Zoological Garden which is home to many rare species of animals and birds. You can take a guided tour of the zoo or rent a bicycle to explore at your own pace. In the afternoon, head to the Adventure Park which offers activities like ziplining, rope walking, rock climbing, and more. The park also has a restaurant and a souvenir shop. In the evening, take a leisurely walk around the Uparkot Fort which is beautifully illuminated at night.
There are several other places to visit in Junagadh, such as the Mahabat Maqbara and the Uperkot Fort. You can also take a side trip to the Somnath Temple, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
