2-Day Itinerary for Vrindavan in November 2023

  1. Day 1: Banke Bihari Temple
    10 minutes (2.4 km) from Vrindavan Bus Stand

    Start your day by visiting Banke Bihari Temple, which is one of the most prominent temples in Vrindavan. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and you can witness the mesmerizing morning aarti at 7:45 AM. In the afternoon, relish the famous Prasad, the Peda, which is sold outside the temple. Spend your evening at the ISKCON Temple that is located nearby, and witness the grand aarti at 7:00 PM.

  2. Day 2: Prem Mandir
    20 minutes (4.5 km) from Banke Bihari Temple

    Start your day by visiting Prem Mandir, which is one of the most beautiful temples in Vrindavan. The temple has been created with white Italian Carrara marble, and it looks stunning during sunrise. You can witness the morning aarti at 6:30 AM. In the afternoon, visit Radha Raman Temple, which is located nearby. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and was built by Gopala Bhatta Goswami. Spend your evening at Kesi Ghat, which is located on the banks of the Yamuna River. You can enjoy a boat ride here and witness the mesmerizing aarti ceremony.

Recommendations

If you have more time, visit the Nidhivan temple, which is a 30-minute drive from Vrindavan. The temple is dedicated to Radha-Krishna and is believed to be the place where Lord Krishna performs Raasleela with Radha and other Gopis. You can also visit the Govardhan Hill, which is located 22 km from Vrindavan. The hill is believed to have been lifted by Lord Krishna on his little finger to protect the villagers from the wrath of Lord Indra. To make the most of your trip, try the local food, including the famous peda, lassi, and chaat. Don't forget to explore the local markets, which offer a variety of handicrafts, clothes, and souvenirs.
