Kashmir Itinerary - July 2023

  1. Day 1: Srinagar
    13 minutes (7.2 km) from Srinagar International Airport

    In the morning, visit the Mughal Gardens, a group of gardens built by the Mughals in the Persian style of architecture. Afternoon, take a shikara ride on Dal Lake, with views of the surrounding mountains and floating gardens. In the evening, visit the Hazratbal Shrine, a holy shrine for Muslims that contains a relic believed to be a hair of the Prophet Muhammad.

  2. Day 2: Gulmarg
    50 minutes (50 km) from Srinagar

    In the morning, take the Gondola Cable Car up to the ski resort of Apharwat Peak, with panoramic views of the Himalayan range. In the afternoon, go on a guided horse ride through the scenic meadows of Gulmarg. In the evening, explore the local markets for souvenirs.

  3. Day 3: Sonamarg
