If you have time, consider visiting the Darbar Hall Museum, which houses artifacts from the erstwhile rulers of Junagadh. You can also take a trip to the nearby Gir Forest National Park, home to the Asiatic lion. To maximize your fun, try some delicious Gujarati cuisine at one of the local restaurants or food stalls. A great side trip would be to visit the nearby town of Veraval, known for its fishing industry and Somnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India.
