3-Day Honeymoon Itinerary for Kedarnath in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit Kedarnath Temple

    Embark on a trek to Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to several endangered and rare species of flora and fauna. The sanctuary is located at an altitude of 1,160 meters to 7,000 meters and covers an area of 975 sq. km. In the morning, trek to Deoria Tal, a pristine lake, and enjoy the picturesque views of the Himalayas. Afternoon, visit the Chopta Valley, also known as the "Mini Switzerland" of India.   3. Day 3: Admire the Natural Beauty of Gaurikund and Guptkashi

    Visit Gaurikund, a scenic spot and the base camp for the trek to Kedarnath Temple. The place is named after Goddess Parvati, also known as Gauri, who is said to have meditated here to win Lord Shiva's heart. Afternoon, drive to Guptkashi, located on the banks of the Mandakini river and surrounded by lush green forests. Visit the ancient Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnareshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and Parvati. In the evening, enjoy a romantic dinner at your hotel.
