To get around Washington DC, visitors can use the Metrorail, which has several stations throughout the city. Each ride costs $2-6 depending on the time of day and distance travelled. Taxis and ride-share services like Uber and Lyft are also available but can become expensive.
If you have more time, consider visiting the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the International Spy Museum, or take a walk through Rock Creek Park. If you have less time, focus on the National Mall and the memorials within.
Washington DC has three major airports: Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), and Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).
