Four-Day Itinerary for Wayanad in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit Edakkal Caves
    45 minutes (13.9 miles) from Kalpetta

    Start your trip by visiting the Edakkal Caves, a prehistoric site filled with ancient petroglyphs. The caves are situated on top of Ambukutty Mala, and you'll need to trek 1.5 km uphill to reach them. In the morning, you'll beat the crowds and the heat.   4. Day 4: Visit Thirunelli Temple and Kuruvadweep Island
