Four Days in North and South Goa in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada and Sinquerim Beach
    24 minutes (8.5 km) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, explore the historic Fort Aguada, built in the 17th century by the Portuguese. Take a guided tour to learn about the fort's role in protecting Goa from invaders. In the afternoon, head to Sinquerim Beach for some fun in the sun. Enjoy water sports like jet skiing, parasailing, and banana boat rides, or simply relax on the beautiful sandy beach. At night, visit the nearby Tito's Club for some drinks and dancing.

  2. Day 2: Basilica of Bom Jesus and Anjuna Beach

    In the morning, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in India. Admire the Baroque architecture and the ornate interior. In the afternoon, head to Palolem Beach, a crescent-shaped beach with clear blue waters and white sand. Rent a kayak or paddleboard to explore the coastline, or take a dolphin-watching boat tour. End the day with a seafood dinner at one of the beachside restaurants.

  4. Day 4: Old Goa and Colva Beach
    1 hour 10 minutes (37 km) from Palolem Beach

    In the morning, visit Old Goa, a historic city known for its stunning Portuguese architecture. Explore the Se Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Asia, and the nearby St. Francis of Assisi Church, known for its Baroque architecture. In the afternoon, head to Colva Beach, a popular tourist spot with a lively atmosphere. Relax on the beach or try some local snacks from the food vendors. End the day with a sunset view from the beach shacks and a stroll around the nearby markets.
