Three-Day Itinerary for Coorg in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Abbey Falls
    20 minutes (6.5 miles) from Madikeri

    In the morning, take a stroll through the beautiful coffee plantations surrounding the falls. The afternoon is a great time for a swim in the refreshing waters of the falls. Finally, enjoy the serene environment and the sounds of the falls in the evening.

  2. Day 2: Dubare Elephant Camp
    1 hour 15 minutes (32 miles) from Abbey Falls

    Get an early start to enjoy the elephant bath and feeding sessions in the morning. After lunch, take an elephant ride to explore the surrounding forests. In the evening, unwind with a coracle ride on the nearby river.

  3. Day 3: Nisargadhama
    1 hour 20 minutes (30 miles) from Dubare Elephant Camp

    Start your day with a visit to the Nisargadhama Forest Park, where you can go for a nature walk and take a boat ride in the river. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Namdroling Monastery, which is the largest teaching center of the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. In the evening, head to Raja's Seat to witness a spectacular sunset over the surrounding hills.
