Kashmir Nature Itinerary in October 2023

  1. Day 1: Srinagar
    25 minutes (12 kilometers) from Srinagar International Airport

    Start your day with a Shikara ride on Dal Lake followed by a visit to Pari Mahal, a beautiful seven terraced garden. In the afternoon, visit the Shankaracharya Hill, one of the most popular tourist spots in Srinagar, to witness a beautiful panoramic view of the valley. Spend the evening at Hazratbal Shrine, a popular Muslim shrine located on the banks of Dal Lake.

  2. Day 2: Yusmarg
    2 hours 30 minutes (51 kilometers) from Srinagar

    Head to Yusmarg, a beautiful meadow surrounded by majestic hills, for a day picnic. Visit Nil Nag Lake, a serene and picturesque lake, for boating and fishing. Spend the evening enjoying a scenic view of sunset from Doodh Ganga, a river known for its milky white water.

  3. Day 3: Sonmarg

    Visit Dachigam National Park, a beautiful park with a variety of wildlife including the Hangul, the only surviving species of red deer in India. Spend the afternoon at Harwan Garden, a beautiful garden with a view of the Zabarwan Range. Spend the evening at Nishat Garden, a terraced garden with a beautiful view of the Dal Lake.

  7. Day 7: Srinagar
    1 hour (11 kilometers) from Dachigam National Park

    Shop for souvenirs at the Lal Chowk market or the Boulevard Road. In the afternoon, visit the Jama Masjid, one of the oldest mosques in Srinagar. Spend the evening at the Shalimar Bagh, a beautiful garden built by Mughal Emperor Jahangir.
