In the morning, visit the famous Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. This ancient temple is built of large, heavy and evenly cut grey slabs of stones. The temple opens at 6:00 AM, so it's best to arrive early to avoid the crowds. After lunch, head to Vasuki Tal, a picturesque lake located 6 km from Kedarnath. Enjoy the serene surroundings and take a dip in the crystal clear waters. In the evening, take a stroll around the town and visit the local market to buy souvenirs.

Start your day early and drive to Gandhi Sarovar, a stunning glacial lake located at an altitude of over 14,000 feet. Along the way, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Once you reach Gandhi Sarovar, spend a few hours soaking in the natural beauty and exploring the surrounding area. After lunch, head to Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary, located just 7 km from Kedarnath. Here, you can spot rare species of birds and animals, including bharal, snow leopard, and musk deer. In the evening, return to your hotel and relax.

2 hours 30 minutes (35.7 miles) from Gandhi Sarovar

On your final day, drive to Son Prayag, a picturesque confluence of two rivers, Basuki and Mandakini. Take a dip in the holy waters and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. After lunch, visit the Guptkashi Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. This ancient temple is believed to have been built during the 8th century. In the evening, return to Kedarnath and enjoy a luxurious dinner at your hotel.
