Exploring Puerto Rico in 4 Days

  • Day 1: Old San Juan
    15 minutes (5 miles) from San Juan International Airport

    Start your trip by visiting the historic city center of San Juan, Old San Juan. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to colorful colonial-style buildings and forts, such as Castillo San Felipe del Morro and Castillo de San Cristobal.   • Day 2: El Yunque National Forest

Here, you may also spot various species of birds, coquis, and other wildlife native to Puerto Rico. Don't forget to bring your swimwear, as there are several natural pools and swimming holes to take a dip in.

  • Day 3: Bioluminescent Bay Kayaking
    1 hour 45 minutes (62 miles) from El Yunque National Forest

    Experience the natural wonder of bioluminescent bays by kayaking through one of the three bio bays in Puerto Rico. As you paddle through the water, you'll see the bioluminescent microorganisms light up the water, creating a magical glow beneath the kayak. While paddling, you might also see some marine life, like stingrays and jellyfish, in the water.

  • Day 4: Culebra Island
    2 hours (80 miles) from Bioluminescent Bay

    Finish your trip by relaxing on the beautiful beaches of Culebra Island, one of the top-rated beaches in the world. Snorkel in the pristine waters, explore the coral reefs and colorful fish, and soak up the sun on the white sandy beaches. Take a hike up to Culebrita Lighthouse for a spectacular view of the island and its surroundings.
