5-Day Vietnam Shoestring Budget Itinerary in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City
    20 minutes (4.5 miles) from Tan Son Nhat International Airport

    Discover the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City with a visit to the famous Ben Thanh Market in the morning. Try some local street food for lunch, such as Banh Mi or Pho.   2. Day 2: Mekong Delta
    2 hours and 30 minutes (86 miles) from Ho Chi Minh City

    Embark on a day trip to the Mekong Delta, known as Vietnam's "rice bowl." Take a boat ride along the river and visit local villages to learn about the traditional handicrafts.
