Paris is a very walkable city, and the best way to explore is on foot. However, if you get tired, you can always hop on the metro, which is fast and affordable. A single ticket costs €1,90, or you can buy a pack of 10 tickets for €16,90. Taxis are also available, but they can be expensive.
If you have more time, we recommend exploring the iconic Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum, both of which will require at least half a day. For a more local experience, visit Canal Saint-Martin, where you can have a picnic, or explore the street art scene in Belleville. If you have less time, we suggest cutting out The Moulin Rouge and the Dali Museum, which will save you time and money.
Paris has two major airports: Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), located 14 miles northeast of the city center, and Paris Orly Airport (ORY), located 10 miles south of the city center. From both airports, you can take a taxi, bus, or train to reach your destination. CDG is larger and has more international flights, while ORY serves more domestic and European destinations.
