In the morning, take a trip to Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. The temple is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a prominent symbol of Buddhism in Nepal. The kids will love the monkeys that roam freely around the temple premises. The stupa is also adorned with colorful prayer flags that add to the serene atmosphere. The square is home to many ancient temples, palaces, and statues that depict the rich history and culture of Nepal. The intricate wood and stone carvings are a testament to the exquisite craftsmanship of the Newari people. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Changu Narayan Temple, the oldest temple in Nepal.
