Visit Gaurikund, the base camp for the Kedarnath trek, and take a dip in the natural hot water spring of Gauri Kund. You can also visit the Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva Temple in the world, and enjoy the scenic beauty of the surroundings.
You can also visit the Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi in Kedarnath, the Shankaracharya of Dwarka Peeth who established the Char Dhams in India. You can also take a side trip to Badrinath, another important Hindu pilgrimage site situated in Uttarakhand.
