2-Day Nature Itinerary for Wayanad in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Banasura Sagar Dam

Go on a guided jeep safari and spot elephants, tigers, leopards, and many more exotic animals. Afterward, visit the Edakkal Caves, an ancient archaeological site that dates back to 6,000 BCE. For lunch, try local Kerala cuisine at the nearby restaurants. In the evening, take a stroll around the Pookode Lake, a freshwater lake surrounded by lush green forests. Try boating in the lake and feed the fish. End your day with a visit to the Soochipara Waterfalls, a beautiful three-tiered waterfall surrounded by lush greenery.
