Kedarnath Adventure Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Kedarnath Temple

  6. Day 6: Sonprayag

    Morning: Visit Sonprayag, a picturesque location where the Mandakini River meets the Songanga River. It is a popular spot for picnics and is surrounded by lush green forests and mountains.

    Afternoon: Have lunch at any of the local restaurants and try the local cuisine, such as Kumaoni Raita and Kafuli.

    Evening: Drive back to Kedarnath and spend your last evening enjoying the beautiful views of the Himalayas.

Recommendations

You can also consider visiting Triyuginarayan Temple, which is believed to be the spot where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati got married. Another popular side trip is to the Tungnath Temple, which is one of the highest Shiva temples in the world. To maximize your fun, you can also try river rafting in the nearby rivers or go on a camping trip in the surrounding forests.

Make sure to carry warm clothes, raincoats, and trekking shoes for the trip. It is also important to stay hydrated and carry snacks and energy bars during the treks.
