Transportation

Transportation in Puerto Rico is fairly easy as the distances between the above locations are manageable by car. It's recommended to rent a car for the trip. Expect tolls on highways, and parking fees are applicable in some locations. Estimated travel cost per day would be $50 for transportation.

Useful Tips

If you have more time, you can take a day trip to the remote island of Vieques and experience the bioluminescent bay there or hike in the El Yunque National Forest. If you have less time, you can skip the Ponce day trip. Please note that this itinerary is best for groups of adults over 21 due to the focus on nightlife and bars.
