3-Day Family Friendly Itinerary for Kolkata in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Victoria Memorial
    30 minutes (6.3 km) from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport

    Start your trip with a visit to the stunning Victoria Memorial, a marble palace built in memory of Queen Victoria, set amidst gardens. Learn about the history and culture of Kolkata through the various exhibits and galleries within the memorial. In the afternoon, head to the nearby St. Paul's Cathedral, a beautiful Anglican cathedral with stunning stained glass windows. End your day with dinner at Oh! Calcutta, a popular restaurant serving traditional Bengali cuisine.

  2. Day 2: Science City and Nicco Park
    40 minutes (10.5 km) from Victoria Memorial

    Spend your morning exploring the interactive exhibits and activities at Science City, a science museum and amusement park. Enjoy a 3D movie, a space theatre show, or participate in the various science experiments and activities. After lunch, head to Nicco Park, an amusement park with rides and attractions for all ages. Admire the beautiful architecture and intricate designs of the temple, and participate in the ritualistic ceremonies. Afternoon, head to Belur Math, a monastery and headquarters of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission. Learn about the teachings and philosophy of Ramakrishna, and visit the various temples and gardens within the campus. End your day with dinner at the 6 Ballygunge Place, a restaurant serving traditional Bengali cuisine.
