3-Day Family-Friendly Itinerary in Dubai, October 2024

  1. Day 1: Dubai Miracle Garden
    25 minutes (14.5 km) from Dubai International Airport

    Morning: Start the day with a stroll in the world's largest natural flower garden. With over 50 million flowers and 120 varieties, Dubai Miracle Garden is a spectacular sight to behold. Kids will have a blast exploring the themed gardens and playing at the children's play area.

    Afternoon: Head to Dubai Mall, the largest shopping mall in the world, for some lunch and shopping. Don't miss out on the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, where you can see over 140 species of sea life including sharks and rays!

    Evening: End the day with a visit to the Dubai Fountain, a spectacular water and light show set to music which takes place every 30 minutes from 6 pm.

  2. Day 2: Atlantis, The Palm
    25 minutes (20 km) from Dubai Miracle Garden

    Morning: Spend the morning at Aquaventure Waterpark, one of the best waterparks in the world. With thrilling water rides, a private beach and a kids' play area, there's something for everyone!

    Afternoon: Head over to The Lost Chambers Aquarium, home to over 65,000 marine animals. Don't miss the interactive touch tank experience for kids!

    Evening: Enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants at Atlantis, The Palm. After dinner, catch the spectacular water and fire show, The Avenues, at The Pointe.

  3. Day 3: Dubai Parks and Resorts
    35 minutes (40 km) from Atlantis, The Palm

    Morning: Spend the day at Dubai Parks and Resorts, the largest integrated theme park destination in the Middle East. With four theme parks - Motiongate Dubai, Bollywood Parks Dubai, Legoland Dubai and Legoland Water Park - and a dining and retail district, there's something for everyone!

    Afternoon: Catch the spectacular La Perle by Dragone show at Al Habtoor City. This 90-minute show features 65 world-class performers, including acrobats, aerialists and divers.

    Evening: Head to Jumeirah Beach for some relaxation and stunning views of the Burj Al Arab. Enjoy dinner at one of the many beachside restaurants.

Recommendations

If you're looking for some thrills, head to Skydive Dubai or IMG Worlds of Adventure. For a cultural experience, visit the Dubai Museum or take a tour of the historic Al Fahidi neighbourhood. A day trip to Abu Dhabi is also highly recommended, where you can visit the stunning Sheikh Zayed Mosque and explore the city's many museums and galleries. To make the most of your time in Dubai, consider purchasing a tourist pass which includes admission to several attractions and discounted dining and shopping.
