2-Day Itinerary for Udupi in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Sri Krishna Temple
    10 minutes (1.3 miles) from Udupi Railway Station

    Start your day at the world-famous Sri Krishna Temple, which houses an impressive idol of Lord Krishna adorned with jewels and gold. Witness the morning rituals and prayer ceremonies before exploring the temple complex. In the afternoon, try some authentic South Indian cuisine in one of the many local restaurants. In the evening, visit the Malpe Beach, which is known for its serene atmosphere and sunset views.

  2. Day 2: St. Mary's Island
    30 minutes (11.8 miles) from Udupi Railway Station

    Your second day in Udupi should be spent exploring St. Mary's Island, a picturesque island located off the coast of Malpe Beach. Take a ferry and enjoy the scenic views before reaching the island. Spend the morning swimming and relaxing on the pristine beaches. In the afternoon, explore the geological wonders of the island, including the unique hexagonal basaltic columns.
