5-Day Adventure Itinerary for Kedarnath in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Kedarnath Temple

Evening: Visit the Bhairava Temple, which is located near the Kedarnath Temple. The temple is dedicated to the fierce form of Lord Shiva, Bhairava.

Recommendations

If you have time, consider taking a day trip to the nearby town of Gaurikund. The town is famous for its natural hot springs and is believed to be the place where Goddess Parvati meditated to win Lord Shiva's heart. You can also try some adventure sports like white-water rafting and rock climbing.
