Five-Day Cultural Immersion Itinerary in Vrindavan, July 2023

  1. Day 1: Shri Banke Bihari Mandir

    In the morning, experience the Aarti ritual and the darshan of Banke Bihari, a popular Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. In the afternoon, visit the Radha Raman Temple, one of the most celebrated Vaishnavite temples in Vrindavan.   2. Day 2: Prem Mandir

    In the morning, explore the Prem Mandir temple complex, which features a variety of beautiful and intricate carvings and sculptures. In the afternoon, visit the ISKCON Temple, a modern temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and his spiritual master. In the evening, enjoy a stroll in the beautiful Seva Kunj gardens, which is believed to be the spot where Lord Krishna and Radha used to perform their Raaslila.

  3. Day 3: Govind Dev Temple

    In the morning, visit the Govind Dev Temple, a magnificent temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. In the afternoon, explore the Kusum Sarovar, a scenic lake surrounded by beautiful temples and lush greenery.   4. Day 4: Nidhivan

    In the morning, take a trip to Nidhivan, a forest where it is believed that Lord Krishna performs his Raaslila with Radha and other gopis. In the afternoon, visit the Radha Damodar Temple, established by Jiva Goswami, one of the six Goswamis of Vrindavan. In the evening, take a stroll around the Madan Mohan Temple, a historic temple that dates back to the 16th century.

  5. Day 5: Rangaji Temple
    10 mins (1.6 km) from Hotel Krishnam

    In the morning, visit the Rangaji Temple, a magnificent temple dedicated to Lord Ranganatha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. In the afternoon, explore the beautiful gardens of the Gokulnanda Temple, a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna's childhood pastimes in Gokul. In the evening, take a stroll around the beautiful Radha Gokulananda Temple, a temple dedicated to Radha and Krishna's divine love.

Recommendations

Do not miss the opportunity to attend the Brahmotsavam festival at the Shri Ranganatha Temple, which usually takes place in July and is one of the biggest festivals in Vrindavan. Additionally, consider taking a day trip to the nearby city of Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, to explore its many temples and historic sites.
