3-Day Nature Itinerary for Coorg in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Abbey Falls
    20 minutes (7.5 miles) from Coorg

    In the morning, head to Abbey Falls, a stunning waterfall that cascades from a height of 70 feet. The lush greenery and the sound of water gushing down create a mesmerizing view. Afterward, visit the nearby coffee plantation, where you can learn about coffee cultivation and taste some freshly brewed coffee. In the evening, head to Raja's Seat, a garden that offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The sunset view from here is breathtaking.

  2. Day 2: Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary

    In the morning, drive to Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary, a protected area that is home to a variety of flora and fauna. Go on a trek to reach the Iruppu Falls, a scenic waterfall that provides a refreshing break. In the afternoon, visit Nagarhole National Park, which is home to tigers, elephants, and various species of birds. Take a jeep safari to explore the park and spot some wildlife. In the evening, head back to Coorg.

  3. Day 3: Dubare Elephant Camp

    In the morning, visit Dubare Elephant Camp, an elephant training center that allows visitors to interact with elephants. You can watch the elephants getting bathed and fed and even take a ride on their backs. Afterward, head to Nisargadhama, an island surrounded by the Cauvery river. Here, you can go for a nature walk or enjoy various activities like boating and ziplining. In the evening, head back to Coorg.
