In the morning, we will start our trek to the highest peak in Wayanad, Chembra Peak. The trek takes around 3 hours, and on the way, you will pass through lush green forests, beautiful meadows, and a heart-shaped lake. Once you reach the peak, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and forests. Afternoon is the perfect time for camping and relaxing in the serene environment. In the evening, we will have a bonfire and some delicious dinner under the stars.
Start your morning with a visit to the serene Kuruva Island. After reaching the island by boat, we will begin our thrilling bamboo rafting adventure. The ride takes you through the dense forests, and you can spot a variety of rare birds and animals along the way. After rafting, we will head to the nearby Pakshikere View Point for some stunning views of the surrounding forests. In the evening, we will visit the Banasura Sagar Dam, which is the largest earth dam in India, and watch the sunset from the top.
On the last day, we will go on a thrilling jeep safari in the Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to a variety of animals like tigers, elephants, and leopards. The safari lasts for around 3 hours, and you can spot a variety of animals and birds along the way. In the afternoon, we will visit the Edakkal Caves, which are famous for their ancient rock carvings. The caves have a stunning view of the surrounding mountains and forests. In the evening, head back to Wayanad for some local shopping and dinner.
If you have some extra time, you can also visit the Meenmutty Falls, which is a beautiful three-tiered waterfall. You can also take a day trip to the nearby town of Kalpetta, which is famous for its coffee plantations and spice markets.
