A 2-Day Itinerary for Gokarna in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Mahabaleshwara Temple

    Mahabaleshwara Temple is one of the most ancient and famous temples in Gokarna. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and boasts of intricate carvings and architecture. Start your morning with a visit to this temple and witness the morning aarti. Post that, head to the nearby restaurants for a sumptuous breakfast. Spend the afternoon at Gokarna Beach, relaxing, sunbathing and enjoying the beautiful blue sea. In the evening, head to the local market and shop for souvenirs or try some street food.

  2. Day 2: Om Beach
    20 minutes (5.6 km) from Kudle Beach

    Start your day early and head to Om Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Gokarna. Enjoy a relaxing morning walk or swim in the beautiful sea. For lunch, head to Namaste Cafe, which is known for its delicious food and breathtaking views. Spend the afternoon exploring the nearby Half Moon Beach, which is accessible only by boat or trekking. In the evening, head to Dolphin’s Point, where you can spot friendly dolphins jumping out of the water.
