2-Day Itinerary for Kodaikanal in October 2023

  1. Day 1: Bryant Park
    10 minutes (1 mile) from Kodaikanal Bus Stand

    Begin your day with a visit to Bryant Park, known for its colourful flowers and variety of plants. You can take a leisurely stroll through the park or sit on one of the benches and enjoy the serene surroundings. In the morning, you can also visit the Kodaikanal Lake, which is just a few minutes away from Bryant Park. Take a boat ride or a horse ride around the lake. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Coakers Walk for a stunning view of the valley. Take a refreshing tea break at the stalls nearby. In the evening, head to Pillar Rocks, situated 8 km from the lake. The view of the sunset from here is breathtaking.

  2. Day 2: Silver Cascade Falls
    20 minutes (5 miles) from Kodaikanal Bus Stand

    Start your day with a visit to the Silver Cascade Falls, a beautiful waterfall that cascades down from a height of 55 meters. Enjoy the view of the falls and take some memorable photographs. After that, head to the nearby Bear Shola Falls, a seasonal waterfall surrounded by lush greenery. Take a refreshing dip in the cool water, and relax in the serene surroundings. In the afternoon, visit the Kodaikanal Solar Observatory, which is just a few minutes away from the falls.
