Mattupetty Dam and Lake is a beautiful and serene location, surrounded by tea plantations and rolling hills. It is the ideal spot for a relaxing morning stroll with the family. You could also take a speedboat ride to explore the waters of the dam.
Kolukkumalai Tea Estate is one of the highest tea plantations in the world, surrounded by the Western Ghats. The surreal views of the hills, cool breeze, and aromatic smell of tea leaves make it an excellent afternoon spot with the family. Go trekking in the plantation and see various stages of tea processing.
Echo Point is a scenic spot located near a calm lake. It is the perfect place to watch the sunset while surrounded by the lush greenery of the Western Ghats. The kids would have a lot of fun shouting out to hear their echoes reverberate through the hills at Echo Point!
If you have more time, you could add Eravikulam National Park to Day 1. It is known for its endangered species and unique biodiversity.
If you have less time, you could skip Kolukkumalai Tea Estate and explore Tea Museum in Munnar on Day-2.
