A 3-Day Foodie Itinerary to Explore South Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Margao
    25 minutes (8.9 km) from Dabolim Airport

    Morning: Start your day with a hot cup of coffee at Café Real, which is famous for its delicious cakes and pastries. Afterward, move on to the Powder Tower, a part of the old city wall built-in 1560. The tower was used for storing gunpowder and weapons during the Portuguese era.

    Afternoon: For lunch, head to Willi’s Restaurant for some of the finest seafood in town. After lunch, visit the Benaulim Beach, a serene and secluded beach with fewer tourists.

    Evening: Wrap up your day by visiting the largest shopping center in South Goa, Phoenix Marketcity. You can find a range of brands here and shop to your heart's content.

  2. Day 2: Colva
    12 minutes (5.6 km) from Margao

    Morning: Start your day by visiting the Our Lady of Mercy Church, which is one of the oldest churches in Goa, built-in 1630. Then, head to Patrick’s Restaurant and Bar for breakfast, which is famous for its English breakfast and Goan dishes.

    Afternoon: For lunch, visit the famous Joe’s River Cove for mouth-watering continental and Goan cuisine. After lunch, head to Colva Beach, which is one of the most popular beaches in South Goa.

    Evening: End your day with a visit to the Longuinhos Beach Resort, where you can enjoy live music and drinks by the beach.

  3. Day 3: Palolem
    57 minutes (38.5 km) from Colva

    Morning: Start your day with a visit to the Cabo De Rama Fort, which is a beautiful fort situated on the southern coast of Goa. Then, head to Taste of Goa for some authentic Goan breakfast and snacks.

    Afternoon: For lunch, visit Maria’s Restaurant and Bar for some traditional Goan seafood. After lunch, head to the Palolem Beach, which is known for its stunning natural beauty and vibrant nightlife.

    Evening: End your day by visiting the Silent Noise Club, where you can enjoy music and dance parties on the beach.
