Kedarnath Cultural Immersion Itinerary - July 2023

  1. Day 1: Kedarnath Temple

  3. Day 3: Sonprayag
    1 hour 30 minutes (19.7 miles) from Vasuki Tal

    Visit the holy town of Sonprayag and pay your respects to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati at the Triyugi Narayan Temple. Get mesmerized by the scenic beauty of the place and take a dip in the Kund to purify your soul.

  4. Day 4: Gaurikund

    Today we will visit Gaurikund, a quaint little village and a popular starting point of the Kedarnath trek. Take a dip in the hot water springs and visit the Gauri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Parvati.

  5. Day 5: Guptkashi
    1 hour 11 minutes (23.5 miles) from Gaurikund

    Visit the ancient and holy town of Guptkashi, located on the banks of the Mandakini River. Explore the famous Vishwanath Temple, Ardhnareshwar Temple and Manikarnik Kund. Get lost in the town's spiritual aura.

  6. Day 6: Chopta
    1 hour 30 minutes (29.8 miles) from Guptkashi

    Today we will visit the mesmerizing Chopta, also known as the "Mini Switzerland of India". Enjoy the scenic beauty of the place and visit the ancient Tungnath Temple, one of the Panch Kedar temples and the highest Shiva temple in the world.

  7. Day 7: Deoria Tal
    1 hour 30 minutes (30.3 miles) from Chopta

    End your cultural immersion journey with a visit to the serene Deoria Tal, a beautiful lake surrounded by lush green forests. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the place and take a dip in the serene waters of the lake. Return back to Kedarnath for your departure.
