  1. Day 1: Abbey Falls

    Start your day with a visit to the stunning Abbey Falls. Enjoy the serene atmosphere and the sound of the waterfall that creates a misty atmosphere around you. Afterward, take a short nature walk to spot some exotic birds and then head to the Raja's Seat viewpoint to enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. In the afternoon, explore Madikeri town. Visit the Madikeri Fort, which houses a museum, temple, and an impressive palace. Walk through the town's streets, enjoying the local shop's offerings and a taste of the local cuisine. In the evening, relax at your hotel or visit the local market to shop for souvenirs.

  2. Day 2: Dubare Elephant Camp
    1 hour 30 minutes (35 km) from Madikeri

    Begin your day by visiting the Dubare Elephant Camp, where you can interact with elephants and learn about their daily routines. Participate in activities like feeding, bathing and even taking a ride on their back. Afterward, head to the nearby Nisargadhama island, a charming place replete with bamboo groves, sandalwood trees, and teak trees. In the afternoon, head to the Namdroling Monastery, one of the largest Tibetan settlements in South India. Explore the temple complex and watch the monks performing their daily rituals. In the evening, take a stroll around the Harangi Reservoir, and enjoy the sunset view with a cup of coffee.

If you have more time, do consider visiting the Tadiandamol Peak, the highest peak in Coorg. You can also visit the Cauvery Nisargadhama, a picnic spot, and nature reserve.
