2-Day Itinerary for Coorg

  1. Day 1: Abbey Falls

    In the morning, visit the beautiful Abbey Falls and enjoy the picturesque view of the waterfall and the lush green surroundings. Take a short hike to the hanging bridge for a closer view. For lunch, stop by the nearby coffee plantations and indulge in some delicious Coorgi cuisine. In the evening, head to Raja's Seat, a scenic garden with a breathtaking sunset view.

  2. Day 2: Dubare Elephant Camp
    1 hour 20 minutes (30 miles) from Madikeri

    Spend the morning at Dubare Elephant Camp and take part in various activities like elephant bathing, feeding, and watching them being trained. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the camp. In the afternoon, visit the Namdroling Monastery, also known as the Golden Temple, and witness the beautiful Tibetan architecture. End your day with a visit to the Harangi Reservoir, a serene place to watch the sunset.

Recommendations

If you have time, visit the Talakaveri temple, the birthplace of the river Kaveri. You can also take a day trip to Tadiandamol, the highest mountain peak in Coorg. Don't forget to try the famous Coorgi coffee and buy some spices to take back home.
