Nature-lover's Itinerary for Wayanad in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Chembra Peak
    1 hour 10 minutes (24.2 km) from Kalpetta

    Start your morning early with a trek to the highest peak in Wayanad, Chembra Peak. The trek is about 4 km one way and takes around 3-4 hours to complete. You'll pass through lush green meadows and scenic landscapes along the way. Don't forget to take a break and enjoy the stunning heart-shaped lake on the way up. After getting back to the base, head to the nearby Soochipara Waterfalls to cool off in the refreshing water. In the evening, head back to Kalpetta and explore the local markets and try some authentic Kerala cuisine.

  2. Day 2: Banasura Sagar Dam
