Start your day at the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center which showcases over 300 species of aquatic life in natural habitat exhibits. Learn about marine science, marine life conservation, and marine animal rescue.
Enjoy the beach scene at Neptune’s Park, an open-air venue right on the boardwalk. Grab a quick bite at a food stall or take a walk along the boardwalk and enjoy the salty breezes and the panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean.
Head over to the Military Aviation Museum to see their collection of World War I and II planes, and other famous planes such as the P-51 Mustang and the Curtiss-Wright Hawk. The museum also offers tours and plane rides.
Take a peaceful nature walk through serene First Landing State Park, with miles of hiking trails through cypress swamps, salt marshes, forest and beach habitats. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy Virginia’s natural beauty.
End your day with a stroll on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, named among the top boardwalks in the country. It features biking and walking paths, art installations, and oceanfront dining options in lively Atlantic Avenue.
If you have more time, the Virginia Beach area offers plenty of attractions for every interest including jet-skiing tours, fishing charters and even parasailing. If you have less time, you can skip the Military Aviation Museum and start earlier on the beach, or opt for lunch in a restaurant on the boardwalk instead of Neptune's Park's food stalls.
