Spend the day at the Toronto Zoo, one of the largest zoos in the world. Home to over 5,000 animals representing over 450 species, you can explore the different regions of the world through its various pavilions and exhibits. In the late afternoon, make your way to Scarborough Bluffs, a stunning natural wonder located along the Lake Ontario shoreline. Hike through the trails and admire the tall cliffs and crystal clear water. End the day with a sunset picnic on the beach.
If you have extra time, visit the Art Gallery of Ontario or take a boat tour along the Toronto Harbourfront. For a taste of local cuisine, try poutine, peameal bacon sandwich, or ketchup chips. If you have less time, remove the Toronto Zoo and Scarborough Bluffs from the itinerary.
