After exploring the cathedral, head to the Sforza Castle, a 15th-century fortress that houses one of the city’s largest art collections. The castle’s vast collection of artworks includes works by Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and Titian. For lunch, head to Luini Panzerotti, a local favorite that serves delicious fried pastries filled with cheese and tomato sauce. In the evening, head to the La Scala Theatre, one of the world's most famous opera houses, and catch a performance.
If you have more time, consider visiting the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology, which showcases the life and work of one of the greatest inventors and artists in history. You can also take a day trip to Lake Como, located just a short train ride away from Milan. On the other hand, if you have less time, consider removing the Navigli District from your itinerary or shortening your visit to Sforza Castle.
