Spend the morning at Sempione Park, Milan's largest green space. Stroll through the gardens, enjoy the lake and relax under the trees. Afterward, head to one of the most iconic landmarks in the city, the Milan Cathedral (Duomo). This magnificent structure took almost 6 centuries to complete and offers breathtaking views from its rooftop.
Start the day with a leisurely stroll through the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. This 19th-century covered shopping arcade is one of the most elegant in the world and home to some of Milan's luxury brands. After shopping for souvenirs or window shopping, you can explore Brera district which is famous for its art galleries and boutiques. For the afternoon, head to the romantic neighborhood of Navigli canal, lined with cafes, bars, and restaurants where you can relax and enjoy an aperitif or a meal while watching the sunset over the water.
If you have more time, consider adding a visit to the Last Supper painting at the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie or shopping at Via Monte Napoleone. If you have less time, you can skip Sempione Park or Navigli Canal, depending on your interests.
