Start early in the morning for the Kedarnath Temple trek. Take a dip in the holy Tapt Kund and attend the morning Aarti. After Darshan, spend some time visiting nearby Village Sonprayag and acquaint yourselves with the locals and their traditions.
Volunteer with the temple trustees and help the locals with relief work and support services. Post volunteering, trek to Vasuki Taal, a high altitude lake with scenic beauty and camping options.
After the volunteering, trek to Bhairavnath temple for a panoramic view of Kedarnath. Head to Kedarnath helipad and take a helicopter ride to Kedar Dome Peak. Spend some time at the peak soaking in the magnificent views of the mountains.
Visit Triyuginarayan Temple, the place where Lord Shiva and Parvati got married according to Hindu mythology. Post visit, relax at the hot springs at Gaurikund and soak in the serene beauty of the place.
After six days of volunteering in Kedarnath, pack your bags, and depart for Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun with memories for a lifetime.
If you have more time, you can visit the nearby town of Rudraprayag, swim in the Mandakini river, and take a Dip at the Chopta hot springs. If you have less time, prioritize volunteering at the Kedarnath Temple and attend the morning Aarti at the temple.
