Spread across 55-acres of land, the Botanical Gardens is a hub of varied plant life. The place boasts of rare species of plants, flowers, and trees. The garden is located in the lower slopes of the Doddabetta Peak. Open all days of the week, the garden also has a Toda Hill and Fern house, a conservatory, a bonsai garden and more.
Located amidst lush greenery, this waterfall plunges from a height of 180 ft., creating a soothing sound as it falls. The falls are surrounded by thick forests providing a natural backdrop. A boat ride to the Pykara Lake, situated nearby, is a great way to enjoy the views.
A vast expanse of lush green meadows and a golf course, Wenlock Downs, provides fantastic views of the Nilgiris. The downs also house a lake which attracts a variety of wildlife, including bison and blackbucks. A picnic by the serene lake can also be delightful.
